Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical/electronic technology or equivalent experience.
• Military technical training may count as equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in acceptance and installation tests of protection, control, and measurement devices in stations.
• Test protection and control devices periodically and as required.
• Calibrate protection and control devices on schedule.
• Diagnose trouble or mis-operation and aid repairs to prevent recurrence.
• Operate test and data retrieval on protection and control devices.
• Maintain test equipment and vehicles to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Prepare accurate records and drawings as required.
