AEP is seeking a P&C Technician II/Sr. to support installation, testing and maintenance of protection and control devices across transmission facilities. Responsibilities include assisting with acceptance tests, SCADA systems, and related communications equipment, under supervised conditions.

The role emphasizes safety, proper record-keeping, and collaboration with qualified personnel to ensure reliable power delivery.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in electrical engineering technology or related field.
• No prior work experience required for entry level.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in acceptance and installation tests on protection, control, and measurement devices.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of power line carriers and station SCADA equipment.
• Perform switching under direct supervision and maintain records and drawings.
