• Possesses technical knowledge from an ABET-accredited degree program in engineering technology or electrical engineering.
• Gains familiarity with standards, codes, and regulations related to protection and control.
• Begins with defined tasks under supervision and expands as knowledge grows.
• Reads electrical schematics to verify installations match design.
• Maintains records and reports for tests and equipment performance.

Responsabilidades

• Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot protection and control devices periodically.
• Assist with switching at all voltage levels under dispatch instruction.
• Maintain test equipment and keep accurate records and drawings.
• Install, test, and commission P&C systems for projects; coordinate with on-site leads.
• Read schematics and verify electrical installations meet design specs.
