Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to advance patient care across our nationwide clinics. You will assess patients, formulate treatment plans, and fabricate prostheses and orthoses, delivering high‑quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and rehabilitation teams, ongoing education, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. ABC/BOC certification or eligibility is required, with state licensure as needed, and a strong blend of clinical

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics or eligible.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain state licensure where required.
• May have 5+ years of demonstrated prosthetic/orthotic experience without certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate and propose treatment options.
• Design and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Take cast measurements and select materials.
• Perform fitting and alignment, ensure fit and efficacy.
• Maintain detailed clinical notes in patient records.
• Provide follow-up and in-service training to clinicians.
