Job summary

Hanger Clinic seeks a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist Clinician (CPO, CP) to enhance patient care by assessing needs, designing, fabricating and fitting prosthetic and orthotic devices. You will collaborate with physicians, manage treatment plans and provide thorough patient education.

In this role you may mentor residents, support other clinicians, and ensure compliance with safety, Medicare and OSHA requirements. A strong clinical, technical and communication skill set is essential for success.

Qualifications

• ABC/BOC certification or eligibility; licensure as required by state.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in prosthetics/orthotics; ABC eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain licensure where required; willingness to relocate if needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and suggest options.
• Assess patient needs; formulate and implement treatment plans.
• Design, fabricate and fit prosthetic/orthotic devices; ensure proper alignment and fit.
• Provide patient instructions and follow-up; document clinical notes.
• Mentor residents or junior clinicians; support other staff and departments.
