Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Whittier, CA seeks Certified Prosthetist Orthotist or Board Eligible clinician to deliver full-spectrum O&P care in a thriving Southern California practice with an on-site fabrication lab.

You will evaluate patients, design, fabricate and fit prostheses and orthoses, collaborate with physicians, mentor residents, and contribute to clinical excellence while maintaining patient outcomes and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the ABC or BOC, or Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting policy standards.
• State licensure requirements may apply.
• May consider candidates not certified but with at least 5 years of demonstrated experience.
• Candidates certified in one discipline may see patients in both disciplines while completing residency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patient needs for prosthetic and/or orthotic services.
• Examine patient needs and formulate design of devices.
• Perform fitting, alignments, and adjustments to ensure fit and efficacy.
• Maintain detailed clinical notes and patient records.
• Mentor residents or newly certified clinicians and provide supervision.
