Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to lead clinical care in Mission Viejo, CA. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and supervise a team of clinicians and technicians within a growing network of O&P services.

Alongside direct patient care, you will manage operations to meet financial targets and ensure regulatory compliance, with strong collaboration across locations. California state regulation may influence licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from ABC or BOC is required or eligible.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC Board-Eligibility.
• Valid driver's license and driving record criteria per policy.
• In states with licensure, ability to obtain and maintain licensure may be required.
• Five years’ experience in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics providing direct patient care preferred.
• Two to four years supervisory experience preferred.
• Two to four years 3rd party billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide or supervise the delivery of comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care.
• Assess patients, formulate and implement treatment plans, and conduct follow-ups.
• Supervise clinic operations and staff to achieve financial and clinical goals.
• Provide direct patient care for orthotic and/or prosthetic conditions as appropriate.
