Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Prosthetist/Orthotist in the Torrance area to advance patient care across two established clinics.

You will collaborate with physicians and a network of in-house resources to design, fit, and manage prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring optimal outcomes for diverse patients including pediatrics. You will work with experienced clinicians, benefit from extensive lab support and a strong fabrication network, and have opportunities for professional growth while

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the ABC or BOC, or current ABC Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record meeting Hanger policy.
• In states requiring licensure, ability to obtain and maintain licensure.
• May mentor residents or newly certified clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate needs and options for prosthetic and/or orthotic services.
• Examine patients, formulate prosthetic/orthotic designs, and select materials.
• Perform fittings and alignments; ensure proper function and fit.
• Provide follow-up care and detailed clinical notes in patient records.
• Deliver training to physicians and allied health staff and support reimbursement activities.
