Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is a leading provider of orthotic and prosthetic services with a nationwide network of clinics, including a Whittier, CA location.

The Prosthetist/Orthotist will deliver comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care, collaborate with physicians, and mentor staff while maintaining high-quality patient outcomes. You will participate in design, fabrication and fitting of devices, ensure accurate documentation, and provide education to patients, families and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics (ABC/BOC) or board-eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics.
• Ability to obtain state licensure if required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and care team to evaluate and plan prosthetic/orthotic services.
• Perform fittings, adjustments and follow-ups with patients.
• Develop treatment plans and document clinical notes.
• Educate patients and families on device use and care.
• Mentor residents or new clinicians as needed.
• Maintain compliance with Medicare, OSHA and safety regulations.
