Hanger is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to join our Baltimore Group Practice, primarily supporting the Rosedale clinic with potential Greenspring location coverage. The role focuses on prosthetic care (70%) with orthotics (30%), collaborating with a large vascular referral network and a robust clinical community.

You will impact patient outcomes by designing, fabricating and fitting prostheses/orthoses, while leveraging advanced technologies and back‑office support across 900+ clinics

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the ABC or BOC.
• A bachelor’s degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics, or the foreign equivalent, and current ABC Board‑Eligibility.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record within the company policy.
• In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure.
• May be willing to consider candidates who are certified in one discipline who wish to see patients in the other discipline while completing residency.
• May be willing to consider candidates who are not certified or board‑eligible but have at least 5 years of demonstrated past experience in providing prosthetic and/or orthotic services under supervision.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with physicians in evaluating a patient’s need for prosthetic and/or orthotic services; recommend treatment options when necessary.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs in relation to disease and functional loss.
• Formulate design of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
• Select materials, take cast measurements, model modifications, and layouts.
• Perform fitting, including static and dynamic alignments.
• Provide follow‑up with patients and physicians.
• Provide information to administrative staff for reimbursement activities.
