Job summary

Hanger Clinic in Chula Vista, California is seeking a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join a busy practice specializing in custom prosthetic and orthotic care. You will assess patients, formulate treatment plans, and deliver superior patient outcomes while partnering with physicians and clinicians across a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the ABC or BOC, or
• A baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics with ABC Board-Eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic/orthotic services and recommend options.
• Perform fitting and adjustment to ensure device fit and medical efficacy.
• Meet with physicians and referral sources to review capabilities and secure ongoing referrals.
• Plan and implement strategies to meet revenue targets with management.
• Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records.
