Job summary

Hanger Clinic in Dothan, Alabama seeks a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist Clinician to deliver high-quality prosthetic and orthotic care, participate in hospital-based amputee care, and engage in community outreach.

Join an established clinic with mentorship and succession planning as it grows. You will assess patients, design and fit devices, and collaborate with a broad clinical team to enhance patient outcomes and mobility.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics, or board-eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent; ABC board-eligibility.
• Valid driver's license and driving record within policy standards.
• In states requiring licensure, ability to obtain/maintain licensure.
• May consider candidates not yet certified but with 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and options.
• Perform fittings, static/dynamic alignments, and assess device function.
• Design, fabricate and fit prostheses/orthoses; select appropriate materials.
• Provide patient training, follow-up, and documentation.
• Develop referrals with physicians, case managers, and clinics.
