Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Florida seeks a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist to join two offices in Sebring and Winter Haven. Expect collaboration with a certified orthotic fitter, patient care across ages, and Florida licensure progression if needed. Join a nationwide network delivering advanced orthotic and prosthetic care.

As a Prosthetist/Orthotist, you’ll enhance mobility, follow clinical guidelines, and contribute to a supportive clinical community with extensive training and back office support.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and drive record in acceptable range.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and determine prosthetic and/or orthotic needs.
• Design, fabricate and fit prosthetic/orthotic devices to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and staff to coordinate care.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
