Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist in Spring, TX to evaluate, design and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices while delivering high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with physicians, manage fittings, and document clinical notes in a collaborative clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of biomechanics, gait analysis, and anatomy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in clinical settings.
• Ability to work well within a rehabilitation team and with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate needs and options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic/orthotic devices and select materials for fitting.
• Take cast measurements, model modifications, and layouts.
• Perform fitting with static and dynamic alignment and follow-up.
• Provide patient instruction and maintain detailed clinical notes.
• Mentor residents or newly certified clinicians when applicable.
