Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist in Mesa, AZ to evaluate, design, fit, and follow up on custom prosthetic and orthotic devices. The role blends clinical care with patient relationship building and leverages local fabrication resources for efficient, high-quality outcomes.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assess patient needs, and adhere to clinical guidelines while advancing patient mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics, or an eligible credential.
• Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics/orthotics or equivalent with licensure/eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain state licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic and/or orthotic needs and options.
• Examine and evaluate patient requirements related to disease and functional loss.
• Formulate design of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
• Take casts, measurements, and model modifications for proper fit.
• Perform fitting, alignments, and ensure device efficacy and comfort.
• Provide follow-up, patient instruction, and collaboration with the clinical team.
