Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Propulsion Systems Chief Engineer in Buffalo, NY to provide technical leadership across the full lifecycle of propulsion and actuation products.

You will act as the technical authority for critical programs, guide technology strategy, and ensure product integrity from concept through production and sustainment. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years of leadership in aerospace/defense projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible engineering experience.
• Experience leading complex aerospace/defense propulsion or electromechanical programs.
• Proven ability to act as a technical authority and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for propulsion system products and programs across development, production, and sustainment.
• Lead technical execution of large, multidisciplinary engineering programs.
• Develop and execute technology roadmaps and long-term product strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Moog processes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence.
