Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Propulsion Systems Chief Engineer to provide technical leadership across the full lifecycle of propulsion and actuation products within the Space and Defense Group.

This highly visible role serves as the technical authority for critical programs, guiding technology strategy and ensuring product integrity from concept through production and sustainment, while mentoring engineers and collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 10+ years in aerospace/defense programs.
• Experience leading complex propulsion or electromechanical systems programs.
• Proven ability to serve as a technical authority and influence decisions across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for propulsion system products across development, production, and sustainment.
• Lead technical execution of large, multidisciplinary programs with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and execute technology roadmaps and long-term product strategies.
