Northrop Grumman is seeking an Aerojet SMT Technical Lead in Manhattan Beach, CA to partner with program executives and lead a cross-functional engineering team across multiple disciplines. The role emphasizes technical excellence, risk management, and collaboration across supply chain and program offices.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree with extensive experience in liquid propulsion systems, systems engineering, and the ability to travel frequently. A Secret clearance and U.S.

Formación

• Requires Bachelor's degree in STEM and 14 years of related engineering experience; or Master’s with 12 years; or PhD with 10 years.
• Ability to travel 50% or more between Roy, Huntsville, and Manhattan Beach and other locations.
• 5 years Design and Manufacturing experience in liquid propulsion systems.
• Experience with Aerojet systems, e.g., aerospace electronics, communications, and/or liquid propulsion.
• Experience with the systems engineering V-model and lifecycle phases from requirements to acceptance testing.
• Experience in managing a technical baseline.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Secret security clearance post-start.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).

Responsabilidades

• Travel up to 50% or more to interface with leadership, customers, and program milestones.
• Develop Aerojet Statements of Work (SSOW) with key stakeholders.
• Assist in generating technical content for RFIs/RFPs.
• Evaluate technical proposals and support negotiations.
• Review and approve subcontractor deliverables with SMEs.
• Align technical objectives within program cost and schedule constraints.
• Establish and track technical goals and commitments for maturity and high-quality execution.
• Manage technical execution risks and address capability gaps.
• Maintain SMT technical action item tracker for communication and accountability.
