Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Supplier Management Team Technical Lead for the Aerojet (Propulsion) Subcontract, based at the SDS headquarters in Roy, UT, with potential placements in Manhattan Beach, CA or Huntsville, AL. The role leads a cross-functional technical team across engineering disciplines and manages major supplier efforts to ensure technical excellence.

The position requires a STEM degree with extensive design/manufacturing experience in liquid propulsion,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in STEM with required years of related engineering experience.
• Willing to travel 50% or more between Roy, Huntsville, and Manhattan Beach.
• 5 years design and manufacturing experience in liquid propulsion systems.
• Experience with Aerojet technology and systems, e.g., aerospace electronics and/or propulsion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Aerojet SMT technical oversight and align supplier activities with program baseline.
• Develop SSOW with key technical and programmatic stakeholders.
• Review and approve Aerojet SDRL deliverables and support negotiations.
• Manage technical risks and monitor performance against metrics.
