Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, is seeking an Engineer Senior - Nuclear to support propulsion plant fluid systems for the Columbia-class program. You will interface with NAVSEA, Naval Reactors, and suppliers, using TeamCenter/NX IPDE, leading design, construction support, testing, and documentation efforts.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 5–9 years of post-graduate experience with fluid systems; experience with nuclear propulsion and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5–9 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Experience with fluid systems and propulsion plant components preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and problem solving within propulsion fluid systems.
• Developing engineering dispositions and test/inspection documentation.
• Interface with NAVSEA, Naval Reactors, and external vendors for design and deployment.
• Lead and provide technical guidance across engineering and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with TPQ and applicable procedures.
