General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. is seeking a Propulsion Plant Fluids engineer to support the COLUMBIA Class submarines. You will work with a broad team across design, construction support, test, and delivery, interfacing with NAVSEA and Naval Reactors.

The role involves development and maintenance of manuals, procedures, and test gear drawings. The position requires strong communication, time management, and project leadership skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and travel

Competenze

• BS degree or higher in mechanical, aerospace, marine, civil, chemical or equivalent.
• 5–9 years relevant post-graduate engineering experience.

Mansioni

• Troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Developing engineering dispositions including: Reports, CR/CN, TIRs/UNSATs.
• Disposition of vendor information requests (VIRs).
• Operating Procedures and Test Procedures support and leadership.
• Test gear drawing development and maintenance.
• Test procedure development and maintenance.
• Construction surveillance of fluid systems.
• Reactor Plant and Steam Plant cleanliness issues handling and approval.
• New Construction Nuclear Construction and Repair notices development and execution.
