General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. in Groton is seeking a senior electrical engineering supervisor to lead a team of 6–8 engineers focused on deck plate support for Columbia-class non-propulsion plant electrical systems and cableways.

The role involves overseeing installation, hookup, testing and troubleshooting of critical systems across Groton, Quonset Point, NNS and Focus Factories. The position requires a strong track record in leading teams, construction and test support experience, and

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
Construction and test support experience.
Experience leading or supervising teams and managing complex projects.
Ability to work overtime including weekends to support critical work evolutions.

Mansioni

Supervise 6–8 engineers in deck plate support of Columbia-class non-propulsion plant electrical systems and cableways at Groton shipyard, Quonset Point, NNS and Focus Factories.
Support installation, hookup, testing and troubleshooting of non-propulsion plant systems/components such as HMC, IC..., battery and battery support systems, Circuit D, ICCP and related cableways.
Develop personnel, performance and resource management within the team.
Oversee technical direction provided by the group to the shipyard via UNSAT resolution and CN creation.
Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving during testing of lead ship to identify and resolve issues.
