Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing engineering or related experience.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of propulsion systems, mechanics of materials, and thermal‑fluid systems.
  • Ability to train technicians and write work instructions and process plans.
  • Vendor management experience including selection and quality management.
  • Proficiency with additive/subtractive manufacturing and GD&T/FEA tools

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop manufacturing and test processes for 3D printed and machined Aeon‑R engine components and subassemblies
  • Drive continuous improvements in manufacturability, assembly, and delivery of components, ensuring hardware meets all aspects of the intended design
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners and technicians by writing work instructions, conducting root cause analysis, resolving issues, and tracking and reducing lead time
  • Partner with supply chain to develop and manage external supplier relationships, ensuring on‑time hardware delivery
  • Work hands‑on in a fast‑paced, often novel, high‑mix environment while collaborating cross‑functionally and driving projects to completion
  • Build a strong manufacturing team and lead projects directly and cross‑functionally
