Job summary

Blue Origin Huntsville seeks a Propulsion Engineer II to support BE-7 engine components, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and drive design-for-manufacturability in a flight production environment.

You will apply CAD, GD&T, and manufacturing knowledge to improve components and assemblies, with a strong emphasis on aerospace propulsion and safety standards. A BS in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering is required, with 3+ years in related design and production roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in component design, fabrication, build and assembly.
• Experience addressing non-conforming hardware and supporting aerospace manufacturing.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and large assemblies; Creo Parametric and Windchill preferred.
• Design experience in turbomachinery, valves, or combustion devices.
• Understanding of GD&T ASME Y14.5 and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and resolve non-conforming hardware.
• Develop design improvements and transitions to flight production.
• Update assembly procedures and release CAD changes with configuration management.
