Blue Origin in Renton, WA or Huntsville, AL seeks a Propulsion Engineer II to contribute to our BE-3U engine program. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop test plans, analyze data, and support test readiness reviews, with emphasis on propulsion design and performance.

The role requires a BS in aerospace/mechanical engineering or physics, 2+ years in propulsion, and strong data analysis skills.

Formación

• BS in aerospace/mechanical engineering or physics.
• 2+ years of propulsion design, analysis, or test.
• Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and structures.
• Familiarity with data analysis and Python scripting.
• Knowledge of propulsion components and cryogenic systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Willingness to travel for on-site testing.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to develop test plans.
• Perform steady-state and transient system analysis.
• Support component and integrated engine testing.
• Analyze test data and support test readiness reviews.
• Generate test reports and support root cause analysis.
• Assist anomaly investigations and drive corrective actions.
