Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking an engineering internship in California to work closely with mentors and a fast-paced engineering team. You will apply your academic knowledge to real challenges, contribute to ongoing projects, and participate in technical talks and events.

The internship emphasizes collaboration, learning, and hands-on hardware experience. Full-time on-site commitment for 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027, with competitive hourly pay and a rich benefits package.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in bachelor’s, master's or doctorate degree program in engineering, physics or math with at least one semester remaining after internship.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internships, labs or projects)

• Work with mentors and engineers to develop projects.
• Attend regular 1:1s and progress updates.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver results.
