Job summary

Terracon is seeking a resourceful marketing professional in the Seattle region with strong content writing and proposal management skills. You will collaborate with technical, marketing, and client development teams to support pursuit strategy, develop proposals, and enhance Terracon’s regional presence.

Ideal candidates have experience in engineering/architecture/construction markets, proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office, and a track record of delivering compliant, high‑quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related degree; 4+ years of marketing and communications experience
• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)
• A valid driver’s license may be required

Responsibilities

• Support and lead proposal development from kickoff through submission and interview stages.
• Coordinate proposal meetings and collaborate with pursuit teams to develop strategy, messaging, and deliverables.
• Partner with project managers and client development teams to support capture planning and pursuit strategy.
• Ensure proposals are compliant, accurate, and aligned with Terracon brand standards.
• Write, edit, and refine content for proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral.
• Translate technical information into clear, client-focused messaging.
• Maintain content library, including resumes, project descriptions, and boilerplate content.
• Support regional communications, including digital and social media content.
• Monitor lead sources and market intel to identify opportunities.
• Maintain accurate data in CRM systems and generate marketing reports.
• Plan and coordinate events, trade shows, and conferences.
