Job summary

RK&K is seeking an exceptional Proposal Writer (Pursuit Specialist) to join our marketing team in Tampa or Lakeland, Florida. In this role you will collaborate with technical planners, engineers and CEI staff to develop competitive proposals, respond to RFQ/RFPs, and manage collateral and interviews.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in the A/E/C industry, be proficient with InDesign, Word and PowerPoint, and familiar with CRM systems like Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in English, Journalism, Communications or related discipline.
• Two years of experience developing creative proposals in the A/E/C industry.
• Proficient in InDesign, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with proposals and RFQ/RFP responses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers quality proposals for municipal and FDOT projects.
• Collaborate with staff to plan, design, edit, and produce RFP/RFQ responses and interviews.
• Develops and maintains marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
• Monitors and reports on marketing activities and results.
• Maintains marketing database and participates in conferences/meetings.
