Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Proposal Writer (Pursuit Specialist) in Columbia, SC. You will craft RFP/RFQ responses, coordinate with engineers and CEI staff, and manage marketing collateral.

The role requires strong writing, proposal development, and CRM usage in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have at least two years in the A/E/C industry, proficiency with InDesign, Word and PowerPoint, and experience with proposal processes.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience developing creative/dynamic proposals and presentations in the A/E/C industry.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience coordinating, preparing, organizing, composing and completing proposals including team coordination.
• Demonstrated proficiency with technical writing, reviewing and proofreading materials for content, grammar and style.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers quality proposals for small and mid-sized municipal and SCDOT projects; as well as a range of marketing activities for offices firmwide.
• Collaborate with staff to plan, coordinate, design, edit, and produce quality RFP and RFQ responses as well as shortlist interviews and other promotional material.
• Develops, establishes and maintains marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
• Monitors, reviews and reports on marketing activities and results.
• Maintains marketing database.
• Attends conferences and/or meetings as needed.
