• Maintain proposal content and information within CRM and proposal management systems.
• Contribute to broader marketing and business development initiatives as needed.

A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Proposal Specialist to join its New York office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proposal professional looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear path toward future team leadership and Proposal Manager responsibilities.

Working closely with senior engineers, principals, and executive leadership, you will play a key role in coordinating, developing, and delivering high-quality proposals, qualifications packages, and pursuit materials for complex projects across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage proposals, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and qualifications submissions from initiation through final delivery
• Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, principals, and executives to gather content and develop winning proposals
• Write, edit, and tailor proposal content, project descriptions, resumes, and marketing materials
• Manage multiple proposals simultaneously while balancing competing deadlines and priorities
• Support pursuit strategy, executive presentations, and client-facing submission materials
• Maintain proposal content and information within CRM and proposal management systems
• Contribute to broader marketing and business development initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of proposal coordination, proposal management, or pursuit experience
• Background within engineering consulting, architecture, construction, infrastructure, environmental consulting, or another professional services environment
• Experience managing RFP, RFQ, and proposal submission processes
• Strong writing, editing, communication, and project management skillsAbility to work directly with senior leadership and technical professionals
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with concurrent deadlines
• Experience with Deltek Vision, Deltek Vantagepoint, or similar CRM systems is a plus
• InDesign experience is beneficial but not required
