Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Proposal Material Program Manager Analyst in Tucson to support the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) team in shaping the bid and procurement strategy for air and space defense systems. You will assist with proposal kickoffs, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to align schedules around MRP.

Onsite role in Tucson requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, with responsibilities spanning DFAR/FAR and TINA compliance and

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent with 2+ years of proposal experience.
  • Ability to work on programs requiring special program access.
  • Experience with budgets and large databases (preferred).
  • Experience with proposal activities and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Experience using SAP or Kinaxis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supporting program proposal kickoffs and strategy development.
  • Generate and/or collect documentation for proposals, including DD254 facilitation, EX/IM planning, and RFPs.
  • Develop and execute the supply chain proposal strategy for gate reviews and risk management.
  • Work with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common MRP-based schedule.
  • Ensure proposal compliance with DFAR/FAR and TINA regulations.

What You Will Do

Raytheon’s Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. As a Proposal Material Program Manager (MPM) Analyst, you’ll assist with the Supply Chain proposal efforts for the Air and Space Defense Systems portfolio, helping to shape and execute a new combined bid and procurement strategy for the customer.

  • Assist in supporting program proposal kickoffs and strategy development, balancing strategic thinking with tactical application.
  • Generate and/or collect necessary documentation for successful proposals, including sole source justifications, DD254 facilitation, EX/IM planning, and gathering entrance criteria needed to kick off the requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Assist in developing and executing the supply chain proposal strategy in support of all program gate review and risk and opportunity management reviews.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Help ensure proposal compliance with DFAR/FAR and TINA regulations.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience working on proposals.
  • Ability to work on programs requiring special program access.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience assisting with budget management.
  • Experience managing large databases.
  • Experience working on proposal activities and with suppliers.
  • Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Experience using supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis).
  • Commitment to earning a Material Program Management certification within 1 year.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $68,900 - $131,100 USD. Eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and other company benefits as per business unit.
