Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Marketing Proposal Specialist II to join our West Water Marketing Team and collaborate with the West Region BD and operations on pursuits, including EOIs, RFQs, RFPs and pre-qualification efforts. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with offices across Los Angeles, Orange, San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, and Denver.

Responsibilities include leading smaller proposals, coordinating content, leading document design, color reviews, and ensuring compliance with DOA

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• Two years of experience and/or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with large proposals and lead small to medium proposals across regions or lines, from capture through interview.
• Coordinate content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedules, templates and compliance.
• Provide conceptual leadership for document design; may lead resumes and past performance sections.
• Facilitate color reviews and apply lessons learned to improve proposals.
• Manage proposal revisions and align with review directions.
• Participate in go/no-go and greenlight analyses per DOA guidelines.
• Conduct internal debriefs and review client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with business lines, operations, technical and BD teams to support marketing information.
• Guide entry level proposal team members.
• Perform a self-check before submitting for review.
