Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Marketing Proposal Specialist II to join the West Water Marketing Team and work with West Region business development on pursuits including EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and pre-qualifications. Hybrid role with potential remote and in-office schedules in multiple CA offices and Denver, CO.

Responsibilities include coordinating content, leading small to medium proposals, and guiding entry-level team members through the process, from capture to interview.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field plus 2 years of experience and/or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Assists with large proposals and able to lead small to medium proposals (cross regions or business lines), and supports from capture through to interview stage, as required.
• Coordinates content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan and production.
• Provides conceptual leadership for document design. May serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections for proposals.
• May facilitate color review (Pink and Red team) reviews, and apply lessons learned to add value to proposals.
• Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
• Participates in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposal.
• Completes internal debriefs for proposals they lead and reviews debriefs and reviews client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement.
• Has solid working knowledge of company quality procedures and approval processes (legal, contracts, DOA, signatory).
• Liaises with appropriate/relevant business line team, operations, technical, and business development professionals to support or develop marketing information (including but not limited to case studies/project sheets and capabilities summaries).
• Provides guidance to entry level proposal team members
• Performs a self-check of work prior to submitting to others for review/approval
