Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Marketing Proposal Specialist II to join the West Water Marketing Team and collaborate with the West Region BD and operations team on pursuits from expressions of interest to RFPs. This hybrid role may be based in multiple CA offices, including Los Angeles and Orange, with remote elements.

The position supports large and small proposals, guiding content, templates, and production, and may lead writing/editing for resumes and past performance sections within a team setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field plus 2 years of experience and/or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• 4+ years of managing design proposals, in particular winning work for A/E pursuits
• Knowledge of InDesign as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
• Understanding of CRM Salesforce experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with large proposals and able to lead small to medium proposals (cross regions or business lines).
• Coordinates content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan and production.
• Provides conceptual leadership for document design and may serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performances sections.
• Facilitates color review (Pink and Red team) and applies lessons learned to add value to proposals.
• Manages proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
• Participates in go/no-go and greenlight analyses per authority guidelines and capture planning.
• Completes internal debriefs and reviews client feedback to demonstrate continuous improvement.
