Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the marketing and proposal team in Columbia, SC. You will prepare responses to RFQs/Proposals, manage marketing data, and maintain collateral with attention to detail and strong writing/editing skills.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications or related field, and experience in an engineering/AEC environment is preferred. On-site, 40-hour week with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the proposal team with technical writing, editing, and proofreading to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Prepare standard marketing documents in conformance with Owner/Client specifications and company branding standards.
• Enter and manage data across various internal systems to maintain up-to-date marketing and proposal information.
• Maintain marketing collateral and supporting documents, including staff resumes, project profiles, Standard Form 330s, and boilerplate materials.
• Review marketing materials for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality prior to submission or distribution.
• Provide general administrative support to the marketing department, including front desk coverage and office assistance as needed.
• Assist with promotional materials, event coordination, shipping, and production to support marketing and business development initiatives.
