Job summary

Traylor Bros., Inc. is seeking a Proposal Assistant to support the development and submission of compliant, compelling proposals and qualifications for heavy civil construction pursuits.

This role involves preparing documents, gathering information, maintaining proposal resources, and researching and producing materials under guidance of the proposal team. You will collaborate with business development, estimating, and operations, while building knowledge of our projects, markets, and proposal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Up to three years of experience in heavy civil construction or engineering preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing RFQs, RFPs, and bid documents to identify requirements and deadlines.
• Complete assigned proposal tasks within schedules and report progress or delays.
• Gather project descriptions, resumes, photos, and information requested by proposal team members.
• Perform routine quality-control reviews for spelling, grammar, and formatting.
• Maintain proposal databases, boilerplate content, and resources.
