Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field.
• At least 3 years of proposal writing, technical writing, grant writing, marketing communications, or business development experience.
• Experience developing responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, or other competitive documents is preferred.
• Experience in professional services (consulting, public accounting, etc.) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding grammar, editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, writing, editing, and production of proposals, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and SOQs.
• Analyze solicitation requirements to ensure full compliance with submission guidelines.
• Develop proposal outlines, schedules, and content plans to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate proposal efforts with shareholders, department leaders, and technical subject matter experts.
• Write compelling executive summaries, cover letters, project descriptions, resumes, technical narratives, and firm qualifications.
• Tailor proposal content to address each client’s needs and evaluation criteria.
• Ensure messaging, branding, formatting, and style consistency across documents.
• Manage multiple proposals simultaneously while maintaining high quality.
• Provide business development support including creating presentations and researching prospective clients.
