THF CPAs in Tallahassee seeks an experienced Proposal & Business Development Coordinator to advance the firm’s growth by crafting persuasive proposals and coordinating with leadership, marketing, and subject matter experts. This in-person role supports timely, compliant submissions and communicates the firm’s qualifications and value proposition.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years in proposal writing or business development within professional services,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field.
• At least 3 years of proposal writing, technical writing, grant writing, marketing communications, or business development experience.
• Experience developing responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, or other competitive documents is preferred.
• Experience working within the professional services (consulting, public accounting, government contracting, legal services, etc.) is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, writing, editing, and production of proposals, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and SOQs.
• Analyze solicitation requirements to ensure full compliance with submission guidelines.
• Develop proposal outlines, schedules, and content plans to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate proposal efforts with shareholders, department leaders, and technical subject matter experts.
• Write executive summaries, cover letters, project descriptions, resumes, narratives, and firm qualifications.
• Tailor content to address client needs and evaluation criteria.
• Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, formatting, and style across documents.
• Manage multiple proposals simultaneously with high quality.
• Support business development with presentations and marketing materials; research prospective clients.
