Job summary

THF CPAs in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Proposal & Business Development Coordinator to join our in-person team. This role collaborates with firm leadership to craft persuasive proposals, ensure on-time submissions, and support growth strategy.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, or related field and at least 3 years’ experience in proposal or business development. Strong writing, editing, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field
• At least 3 years of proposal writing, technical writing, grant writing, marketing communications, or business development experience
• Experience with RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs preferred
• Experience in professional services is preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong grammar, editing, and storytelling abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Collaborative team player with ability to work independently
• Creative thinker who can present technical information engagingly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, writing, editing, and production of proposals and statements of qualifications
• Analyze solicitation requirements for full compliance
• Develop outlines, schedules, and content plans to meet deadlines
• Coordinate efforts with shareholders, leaders, and subject matter experts
• Write executive summaries, cover letters, project descriptions, resumes, and narratives
• Tailor content to client needs and evaluation criteria
• Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and formatting across documents
• Manage multiple proposals with high quality
• Provide business development support and create presentations and marketing materials
