• Contract Duration: 5-months
• Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

What you will do as a Proposal Benefits Analyst:

• Generate, audit, and manage large group new and renewal proposal exhibits in collaboration with sales and underwriting teams
• Create accurate proposal packages and alternative quotes, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal requirements
• Develop and maintain Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) documents, prepare benefit change grids, and ensure proper linkage to member portals
• Interpret and compare benefit language across carrier documents and internal plan materials to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support proposal processes, ensuring timely completion through task delegation and monitoring
• Act as a subject matter expert by contributing to project deliverables, providing analytic and production support, and maintaining documentation
• Work with internal departments to support benefits administration and group business development efforts
• Maintain high attention to detail and strong organizational control across all responsibilities

What you will bring to the Proposal Benefits Analyst role:

• Associate’s degree and 1–3 years of experience in benefits or a related field
• Background in health insurance, with a preference for commercial group insurance experience
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools highly preferred
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
• Experience supporting sales, account management, and underwriting operations
• Comfortable working with all levels of management and cross-functional teams
