Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Proposal Analysis Professional to develop competitive proposals for Large Generators Factory Service, focusing on rotors, stators, exciters and related components.

You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing and supply management to define scope, build cost quotes and schedules, and drive opportunities to close orders in line with Customer Bid Specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business-related field.
• 2+ years of related work experience in Projects, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Tendering.
• Deep understanding of Generator Manufacturing (Rotor, Stator, or Exciter) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills across audiences - customer, engineering, management, manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP (OPP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver competitive customer proposals for Large Generators (LGN) Factory Service.
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, supply management to define scope per bid specs.
• Drive internal and external customers to identify opportunities and close orders.
• Guide recommendations for strategic spares and planning by maintaining service load forecast.
