Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis, LLC, a world class supplier of power generation repairs, services and parts, is seeking a Commercial Proposal Manager in Euclid, Ohio. You will quote and sell turbine and generator parts, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and interface with customers by email, phone, and in person.

The role includes coordinating with engineering, production, and sourcing teams to ensure timely and accurate quotations, with occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related technical field or 10+ years of technical field experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Spanish fluency desirable.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret parts drawings.
• Strategic negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and proposals for turbine parts using ERP system, including pricing and delivery.
• Oversee supply chain planning and monitor material levels to meet project requirements.
• Create and issue purchase orders to support production and stocking levels.
• Ensure quotes are understood from scheduling and technical perspectives across engineering, production, and sourcing.
• Represent Commercial organization in inter-department meetings and reviews.
• Monitor market data to establish pricing and update quotes as needed.
• Ensure final pricing is communicated to customers before work begins; track job progress.
• Maintain relationships with key customer contacts via phone and email; support business development.
