Job summary

Siemens Energy's Charlotte Campus is seeking an Engineering Manager for Generator Services to lead a team of experienced service engineers. You will guide technical execution, ensure timely and within-budget product definitions, and coordinate resources across projects.

You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and customer order fulfillment, driving quality, accountability, and continuous improvement in engineering workflows while collaborating with internal and external

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years in project engineering, preferably with large rotating equipment.
• Experience leading engineers or technical professionals.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Experience managing project schedules, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Ability to ensure quality and timely engineering deliverables.
• Strong team-building and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Commitment to accountability and continuous improvement.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of experienced service engineering professionals.
• Ensure release of accurate and complete product definitions on time and within budget.
• Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and forecasting for projects.
• Promote accountability, quality, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Lead technical review and fulfillment of customer orders for generator services.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical challenges.
• Identify and implement process improvements in project workflows.
• Serve as primary escalation point for technical issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business and customer objectives.
