Job summary

Adastra Resource Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the Prophet 21–driven accounting function in Missouri. You will own the general ledger, oversee month-end close, and manage multi-entity reporting directly with ownership to build scalable financial processes.

You will drive AR/AP automation, oversee reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial reporting while optimizing Prophet 21 workflows for efficiency and control.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting skills including GL management and month-end close.
• Hands-on Epicor Prophet 21 experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidation.
• Proven ability to improve accounting processes in distribution/inventory environments.
• Experience with AR/AP automation and financial technology.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
• Lead month-end close and consolidation across multiple entities.
• Oversee order-to-cash, including billing, AR, cash application, credit, and collections.
• Act as hands-on Prophet 21 owner, manage workflows and reporting.
• Implement AR/AP automation, electronic payments, OCR invoices.
• Oversee bank/merchant reconciliations and liquidity reporting.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and accurate financial reporting
• Manage month-end close and consolidation across multiple entities, including intercompany reconciliations and multi-entity reporting
• Oversee order-to-cash, including billing, accounts receivable, cash application, credit, and collections
• Serve as the hands-on owner of Prophet 21, managing accounting workflows, system integrity, reporting, and process optimization
• Implement and manage AR/AP automation, electronic payments, and OCR invoice processing
• Oversee bank and merchant reconciliations, liquidity reporting, borrowing base certificates, and internal controls

What We're Looking For
