Job summary

Adastra Resource Group is seeking a P21 IT Director or P21 ERP Manager to lead Prophet 21 as the core platform for a multi-site distribution operation in Indiana or Ohio, onsite. This role reports to executive leadership and owns the Prophet 21 environment across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Operations.

Candidates should bring strong Prophet 21 experience and IT/ERP leadership in distribution, with a proven ability to drive system improvements, integrations, and business process

Qualifications

• Must have Prophet 21 administration, reporting, integrations, and optimization experience.
• Background in IT or ERP roles within distribution.
• Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, and system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Prophet 21 SME and system owner, overseeing Admin, support, upgrades and optimization.
• Ensure Prophet 21 supports Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations.
• Partner with department leaders to improve P21 workflows, reporting, integrations and business processes.
• Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with growth and objectives (IT Director only).
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, SaaS, and end-user services across offices.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as the internal Prophet 21 subject matter expert and system owner, overseeing administration, support, upgrades, and optimization

• Partner with department leaders to improve P21 workflows, reporting, integrations, and business processes
• Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with company growth and business objectives (IT Director only)
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, SaaS applications, and end-user services across multiple offices (IT Director only)
• Manage technology budgets, vendors, contracts, and investments, and establish IT policies and standards (IT Director only)

What We're Looking For

• Strong Prophet 21 experience is required, including administration, reporting, integrations, and business process optimization
• Background in an IT or ERP-focused role, preferably in distribution
• Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, and system improvements
• Understanding of distribution processes including purchasing, inventory, warehouse, sales, and finance
• Strong communication, planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
