Job summary

Delaware County is seeking an Upset Price Sale Coordinator to organize and manage the County's annual Upset Sale. The role reports to the office managers and handles database maintenance, sale pricing, and coordination with sheriff and local authorities.

Responsibilities include notification preparation, bid monitoring, title searches, and processing payments. A strong candidate has a background in tax claims and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years experience in the Tax Claim Bureau.
• Excellent communication, organizational and customer services skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Creates and manages the database of eligible properties for the Upset Sale.
• Coordinates with taxing authorities, county, municipalities and school districts to determine liens and taxes.
• Calculates sale price using collected information.
• Creates and maintains sale sheets.
• Coordinates with the Sheriff's Department for service/posting of sale notice; petitions court when needed.
• Represents the Tax Claim Bureau in court when sales are contested.
