Job summary

Advance Housing & Support Ltd is hiring a Property Services Quality Officer for a hybrid role covering multiple regions. The position involves inspecting void properties, overseeing repairs and ensuring high standards of property condition and customer satisfaction.

You will monitor contractor performance, assist with Fire Risk Assessments and maintain compliant records. A UK driving licence and enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, property maintenance or a recognised building trade.
• Strong knowledge of building construction methods, repair techniques and quality standards.
• Ability to identify defects, diagnose repair issues and specify remedial works.
• Budget management experience within reactive maintenance repairs.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
• Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of void properties and specify repair and maintenance requirements.
• Undertake pre- and post-work inspections to ensure works meet quality standards.
• Investigate building defects and maintenance issues, supporting effective resolution.
• Monitor contractor performance against quality, cost and service standards.
• Support annual Fire Risk Assessment reviews and property compliance activity.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance works across Advance properties and offices.
• Maintain accurate records and analyse performance information in housing management systems.
• Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints relating to property maintenance.
• Contribute to service improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across Property Services.
