Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Manager to maintain the physical condition and appearance of assigned communities, lead maintenance staff, and ensure safety standards. The role involves preventive maintenance, vendor oversight, and close collaboration with management to manage budgets and service levels.

The position requires HVAC certification, experience in multi-family housing, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance staff and coordinate work across teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for service requests and budgets.
• HVAC certification required; CAMT/CPO preferred where applicable.
• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect grounds and buildings for safety and maintenance needs.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Oversee vendors and service contractors to ensure quality work.
• Train and supervise Service Technicians, Housekeepers, Porters and Groundskeepers.
• Assist in budgeting and cost-control efforts for maintenance.
