Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Manager to maintain the physical condition and appearance of one or more communities, leading routine work and preventative maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances in line with safety standards.

You will inspect grounds, manage inventories, schedule maintenance, oversee vendors, and collaborate with the General Manager on staffing and budgets while promoting safe work practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 5+ years maintenance technician work or related experience.
• HVAC Certification required.
• CAMT preferred.
• CPO preferred.
• Multi-family housing experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect community grounds and buildings to ensure safety standards and identify maintenance projects.
• Monitor inventory of tools, supplies, spare parts for common issues and emergencies.
• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, and re-inspect units for high quality work.
• Respond to resident requests with excellent customer service.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, service requests, expenditures, and progress.
