Job summary

Greystar seeks a maintenance specialist to inspect, diagnose, and repair issues across the community, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will coordinate make-ready tasks for vacant units and supervise vendors as needed.

The role requires experience in property maintenance, use of hand tools, and a customer-focused approach to residents. A valid driver’s license and EPA certification where required will be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects at the community following policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, prep for leasing, schedule vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and adherence to specs.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials; assist budget planning and cost control.
